COME OUT OF HIDING
Hiding from God!
The Body of Christ (Church) is filled with members who have gotten COMFORTABLE at HIDING from God! Adam and Eve illustrate “What HIDING from God looks like SPIRITUALLY!” . . .
Gen. 3:1-3 “When they heard the sound of God strolling in the garden in the evening breeze, the Man and his Wife hid in the trees of the garden, hid from God. God called to the Man, ‘Where are you?’
Were they PHYSICALLY “Hiding” from God . . . abbbsolutely NOT! There’s was the AVOIDANCE of having to be Vulnerable (Honest) “come out of HIDING about their SIN” (disobedience).
There are times when we attempt to AVOID God’s VOICE by HIDING from Him!
Reason is we KNOW GOD is going to SPEAK (address) the very thing that’s causing us to HIDE in the first place – SIN in our lives! . . . “Adam where are YOU?”
What are you doing about SIN in your life? . . . Are you COMFORTABLE with trying to HIDE or AVOID God? . . . What do we DO ABOUT OUR SIN? We’ve got to do the “GOD-Thing” . . . There must be a willingness to be:
Vulnerable (Honest) with God and our SIN. . . . God CALLED out “Where are you” . . . God’s CALL wasn’t a question as to where Adam & Eve were PHYSICALLY (He knew their physical location):
God’s CALL to “Adam” was to address why they were HIDING from God; understand, God’s is always concerned about our “HOLINESS!” God wanted Adam & Eve to COME OUT FROM HIDING . . . BE Vulnerable (Honest) with Him about what they’d done (their SIN).
The Bible Teaches Us HOW to “Come Out from HIDING!”
● 1 Cor 11: 31 “Now if we judged ourselves properly, we would not come under judgment!” . . .
● Psalm 32:3-5 “When I refused to confess my sin, my body wasted away, and I groaned all day long. Day and night your hand of discipline was heavy on me. My strength evaporated like water in the summer heat. Interlude. Finally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide my guilt. I said to myself, “I will confess my rebellion to the Lord. And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone.”
● Luke 15:18-20 “I will go home to my father and say, “Father, I have sinned against both heaven and you, and I am no longer worthy of being called your son. Please take me on as a hired servant.”’ “So he returned home to his father. And while he was still a long way off, his father saw him coming. Filled with love and compassion, he ran to his son, embraced him, and kissed him!”
● 1 John 1:9 “if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness!”
An Important Objective of WORSHIP!
Can the WORSHIP Ministry IMPACT those HIDING from God . . . abbbsolutely! Through “Words, Melodies & Music” WORSHIP facilitates & creates:
@An ATMOSPHERE . . . a Vulnerable (Honest) (place) for the
members to MEET w/God!
@An ENVIRONMENT (place) for the members to COME OUT from
their HIDDEN Struggles with SIN!
@WORSHIP facilitates the opportunity for the Holy Spirit to Heal,
Strengthen & Break Strongholds! Strongholds simply refer to
"strong influence or grip!”
@Ultimately, WORSHIP creates an ENVIORNMENT for the Members
to SELF-DISCLOSE!!!!

Of course – the WORSHIP Ministry (members) can’t be HIDING or AVOIDING God’s VOICE either! . . . Otherwise, SIN in the WORSHIP Ministry will Significantly Hamper the environment & atmosphere (ability to USHER others in to God’s Presence) . . . and have them COME OUT OF HIDING & REPENT!

COME OUT OF HIDING
PRAYER . . .
Lord when you “Call Us” . . . and ask “WHERE ARE YOU” . . . let us answer “here I am Lord!” Lord let us not be afraid . . . let us never be COMFORTABLE, HIDING OUR SIN . . . but let us COME OUT FROM HIDING . . . through a willingness to be Vulnerable (Honest), with YOU – a Loving & Holy Father, Amen!
